This is an goosefeather. First I washed it and then very gently between a towel drying.
Then I made the feather complete black with acrylic, let it dry and then paint the cvat with the colours around him/hare.

It has something aboriginal in it, with all those dots, stripes and earth colours.
I think you must've travelled to Australia when you were in Bali, right?! Been there too, in Perth, in 2003. Amazing and superbig country!
